NAA Aircraft Maintenance Line Technician III
The Aircraft Maintenance Line Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance on North American Airlines aircraft at JFK, ensuring that all aircraft meet specified airworthy conditions as set forth by NAA and FAA regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring aircraft are ready for departure.
Job Responsibilities:
*Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on North American Airlines aircraft order ensure the aircraft are in airworthy condition and meet the high operational and safety standards of NAA.
*Traveling to assist in getting an AOG aircraft back in service as required by airline policy.
*Identifying and looking up required parts to repair discrepancies found.
*Operating as a flight technician to support the flight schedule for any NAA charter or scheduled flight.
*Other duties as assigned to assist NAA in achieving its operational goals and objectives.
Job Requirements:
*FAA A&P license is required.
*Must be willing to work weekends and rotating shifts.
*Large aircraft experience required; 757/767 preferred.
*Good communication skills as well as flexibility required.
*Some travel required.
*High school diploma or equivalent required.
