I. SUMMARY

The Product Manager is responsible for the administration and oversight of UltraMain software activities as related to all maintenance functions of NAA. <b>II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b>*Maintaining UltraMain software as needed with regard to necessary system updates for NAA.*Planning, implementing, accepting, commissioning and supporting the system to ensure efficiency and productivity. *Providing training to personnel as needed. *Providing system interrogation, diagnostics and troubleshooting to monitor and correct any operating anomalies when necessary. *Maintaining communication with UltraMain and having the authority to sign off on all deliverables in accordance with company policy.*Other duties as assigned to assist North American Airlines in achieving its operational goals and objectives. *This person will become an expert in NAA Maintenance processes and all functions of UltraMain software.<b>III. QUALIFICATIONS</b>The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential duties of this position. Education and/or Experience</b>For the Product Manager job a Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) and three to five years experience is required. Airline technical operations knowledge and experience, including airline software environments, is required.<b>B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</b>*Knowledge of UltraMain or similar Maintenance and Engineering software required.*Fluency in MS Office Suite products, including MS Project, required.*Strong working knowledge of one's field or discipline in which one finds oneself engaged on a daily basis. Becoming fully aware and informed of current trends, developments, and changes in the sub-industry is critical for this.*Strong communication skills: must be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills.*Must possess a strong ability to manage one's own time, as well as others' time, to ensure that the work that needs to be accomplished in a given time frame is, in fact accomplished. Hand-in-hand with this ability is the ability to prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives.*An individual in this capacity must have strong leadership skills, ensuring that he or she uses appropriate methods of leadership, influence, and persuasion, to guide, manage, and develop those within their scope of supervision. *Individuals in this capacity must be able to instruct others, imparting knowledge and abilities to develop others within their scope of supervision. *An individual working in a supervisory or professional position must be able to engage individuals using multiple learning styles in order to transmit information and develop those who they are supervising. *Able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption.*Must have a strong command of reasoned, measured decision-making based upon analyzing the pros and cons of each potential decision to be made. *Working knowledge of standard and advanced business principles and procedures; moreover, the ability to incorporate them into one's business unit or division to achieve measurable, sustainable results.*Must have the ability to take initiative on a given task or project and persist with the project to its completion. *When necessary, the ability to understand and communicate within a technical or specialized subject matter, particularly as it pertains to aviation and the aviation industry.<b>C. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations</b>A&P license desired. <b>IV. WORKING CONDITIONS</b><b>A. Travel Requirements</b>Approximately 10% of one's time is spent traveling. <b>B. Physical Demands</b>Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting the same location with some opportunity to move about or occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
