I. SUMMARY
The Manager Maintenance Control is responsible for oversight of the maintenance controllers and flight technicians for North American Airlines.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing open control items, turnover logs, documentation, aircraft fleet status and ETOPS limiting items in accordance with airline policy.
- Maintaining constant communications between MCC and all other company departments regarding technical issues and aircraft status in order to maintain effective operations for NAA.
- Overseeing and coordinating the flight technician group (including schedules and debriefings) in accordance with company policy.
- Attending daily briefings with quality assurance, operations control, dispatch, stores, VP and Director of Maintenance in order to maintain alignment around aircraft maintenance issues.
- Other duties as assigned to assist North American Airlines in achieving its operational goals and objectives.

A. Education and/or Experience
For the Manager Maintenance Control job, a Bachelor’s degree and four to six years experience is required. Experience in the airline industry is preferred; managerial experience is expected of the incumbent.

- When necessary, the ability to understand and communicate within a technical or specialized subject-matter, particularly as it pertains to aviation and the aviation industry.

C. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must hold a valid FAA Airframe and Power Plant certification for at least three (3) years.
Must have successfully completed 757 and 767 General Familiarization Course, NAA GMM training and hold a QC “Blue Card” authorization.
