Maintenance Controller

Seeking Maintenance Controller for our 757/767 fleet based out of JFK. Maintenance Controller experience preferred. Must have an FAA A&P License and be computer literate. Troubleshooting experience preferred. Knowledge of Minimum Equipment List a plus. Good communication skills required.

Job Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Controller is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance materials and logistics at North American Airlines are accounted for to ensure safe and efficient operations. Job responsibilities include the following, in compliance with company policies and procedures:

-Issuing control item numbers to defer maintenance items.
-Monitoring control items and providing troubleshooting.
-Ensuring proper procedures and approvals for verification and functional check flights are followed.
-Coordinating with the Manager of Maintenance Control, Manger of Maintenance and Director of Maintenance for any manpower, tooling and/or support equipment required for repairing aircraft.
-Ensuring delays are accounted for and the mechanical irregularity/delay report is generated.
-Other duties as assigned to assist North American Airlines in achieving its operational goals and objectives.
